Host Forest took on the task of creating an online casino back in 2015. The brief was simple, give players something that is entirely unique and immersive and unlike anything else that features on the Internet. Though the project wasn’t officially planned to be put online because the company (who has to remain nameless) wanted to assess the options first and needed to apply for a gambling license which can take years.
Here are the results of our project: Casino Heist.
**Concepts of Casino Heist: **
- CasinoHeist.com is a ‘job’ to take what the casino has… and all of it! This is all about breaking in and taking all the rewards from the game’s vault.
CasinoHeist.com has role levels, where you are part of a small professional team that will carry out the task of stealing from the casino.
Team Levels are:
The Getaway Driver
The Safe Cracker
Your roles will determine the bonuses you get for a job well done. Do well at your job and you will progress up the ranks to one day becoming the boss of a casino heist.
There are various areas of the bank to break into, from general public money to personal safety deposit boxes and even up to the prized millions stored away in jewels and gold.

**What Happens in CasinoHeit.com **
Players are met with the login page this is represented by a vault, the code is your password and it unlocks access.
The blueprint of the casino shows you a visual of all the casino, a bit like a menu, areas of where games are, assistance, banking, etc.
The games are within the casino vault these can be labelled or categorized by their value, for example, the progressive jackpots being the largest payouts are in sealed areas, where and general games are stacked.
You can navigate to the live tables by heading to the CCTV room where you see the games play out you can select your options from there and which table to join.
We can make bespoke gaming and utilize the concept of the getaway driver where you either get busted by the cops or make a clean escape.
The concept of the heist can be set in any era from the 50s up to modern times. Or we can have players pick their own decade where the style changes but retains the same core layouts.
In terms of colours and feel of CasinoHeist.com, I think it should have contracting atmospheres to suit where they are on the site.
Examples: if they are looking at the blueprint of the casino then the idea of seeing this under a spotlight can make it seem dark and secretive. If they are in the vaults of the casino then bright and appealing.
The team levels are where loyalty points come in. Play more and move up the ranks to claim bigger bonuses. The concept can again be used as a bespoke gaming level. Like maps on other casinos, players can start as ‘The Getaway Driver’, then play a number of games to then progress onto ‘Lookout’ and so on. This can be mapped just like the casino’s layout, you begin outside the casino and move in closer as you reach the next levels of the team right up to the vault and jackpot prize.
